




Position Summary: We are seeking an Operations Manager to lead production, optimize processes, implement continuous improvements, and manage teams in a metal-mechanical company. Manage teams and foster a safe and collaborative work environment 100% Mexican company, dedicated and specialized in engineering, welding, sheet metal fabrication, and blacksmithing, as well as all types of machining using conventional and CNC equipment, is seeking: **Operations Manager.** **Responsibilities** * Develop the master production plan (MRP) * Meet JIT (Just-in-Time) schedules * Supervise Production, Maintenance, and Quality departments * Ensure on-time delivery performance * Implement process improvements (Lean Manufacturing, 5S) * Monitor key performance indicators (OEE, efficiency, scrap, downtime) * Administer the operational budget * Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance * Lead and develop the operational team and middle management * Ensure compliance with industrial safety standards * Lead and coordinate daily plant production operations using the IWS work system * Optimize manufacturing processes to ensure product efficiency and quality * Implement continuous operational process improvements to increase productivity * Manage the workforce and foster a safe and collaborative work environment **Requirements** * Industrial, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering degree (or related field), fully accredited * Minimum 8 years of experience in a similar role within a metal-mechanical company * Knowledge of processes including: CNC machining, laser cutting, bending, structural MIG welding, painting * Ability to interpret engineering drawings and tolerances * APQP, PPAP, FMEA * Production control (MRP/ERP) * Experience managing over 80 operational staff members * Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies * Proficiency in ERP systems and intermediate/advanced Excel * Prior experience in operations, preferably within the manufacturing industry * Line balancing * OEE metrics * Industrial safety regulations (NOM) * Leadership, teamwork, and decision-making skills * Intermediate English proficiency * Flexible working hours availability * No transportation constraints **We Offer** * Statutory benefits (15-day bonus, vacation entitlement, 25% vacation premium) * Job stability * Retention bonus * Weekly payroll (one-week lag) **Salary** $50,000 before taxes.
