General Description
Responsible for warehouse management and/or supporting production, ensuring all materials are kept in proper condition, providing support and training to team leaders in material handling, and maintaining production lines in operation.
Experience and Education Bachelor’s degree required. Minimum of five years of leadership experience in warehouse operations or internal material handling. Hands\-on experience as a supervisor in large\-scale operations.
Knowledge, Skills, and Certifications Ability to coordinate effective communication across shipping/receiving, warehouse inventory, and internal material handling teams. Strong attention to detail, time management, and administrative skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP. Experience with Six Sigma methodology. Strong analytical skills. Ability to work under pressure. Strong leadership abilities. High level of drive and motivation. Knowledge of MRP, JIT systems, ISO, SPC, and SAP. Understanding of procurement, internal and external logistics, customs, planning, purchasing, transportation, inventory control, and warehousing.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities Follow Health \& Safety (H\&S) rules and ensure a safe work environment. Execute logistics strategies for material delivery and ensure compliance with processes and controls. Measure logistics performance and ensure operational discipline. Lead material handling efficiency and warehouse layout design. Optimize processes within the Logistics Department. Ensure compliance with departmental goals (PSP/DMAIC/OPS, IDEA). Maintain and ensure inventory accuracy. Provide production support. Conduct training activities. Perform safety\-related activities. Promote continuous improvement and customer focus. Ensure implementation and follow\-up of BRPMS initiatives. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or department manager. Participate in compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS) per ISO 9001:2015\. Comply with all safety regulations related to the role. Complete all required training on time. Identify and report quality or compliance issues and support corrective actions.
