Technical validation of design in compliance with current regulations **Electrical Design Engineer** CDMX \| Projects Department \| Photovoltaic Energy Sector Our energy-sector group is looking for an **Electrical Design Engineer** with a technical focus on electrical and photovoltaic project design and engineering. If you are passionate about electrical design, technical analysis, and engineering development under regulatory standards, this opportunity is for you. **Position Objective** To develop electrical engineering for photovoltaic and electrical projects at medium and low voltage by preparing calculation reports, drawings, and technical specifications—ensuring technical feasibility, regulatory compliance, and alignment with project criteria. **Responsibilities** * Electrical design of photovoltaic and electrical projects at medium and low voltage. * Preparation of calculation reports (service entrances, protection systems, transformers, feeders, switchboards, and conduits). * Development of electrical drawings (single-line diagrams, connection diagrams, load diagrams, and construction details). * Quantification of electrical materials according to design. * Technical validation of design considering current regulations (NOM and applicable guidelines). * Coordination with budgeting and executive project teams. * Addressing and resolving technical observations. * Organized documentation and timely updates of technical deliverables. **Requirements** * Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field. * Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical project design (medium and low voltage). * Experience in photovoltaic projects (preferred). * Intermediate-to-advanced proficiency in **AutoCAD**. * Proficiency in **PVSyst or Helioscope** (preferred). * Knowledge of current national electrical regulations (NOM-001-SEDE). * Proficiency in Excel for calculations and technical analysis. * Availability for occasional technical site visits. **Competencies** * Strong technical analytical ability * Attention to detail * Organization and structured thinking * Teamwork * Problem-solving skills * Clear written communication **Working Conditions** * Location: CDMX (on-site work) * Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30–18:00 hrs * Indefinite-term contract (3-month probation period) * Statutory benefits Salary: $17,500.00 \- $20,000.00 per month Benefits: * Option for permanent contract Workplace: On-site employment
