Wash and disinfect kitchen and storage areas, tables, utensils, knives, and equipment. Receive deliveries, properly store perishable items, and rotate inventory. Ensure clean tableware is stored in appropriate areas. Use detergent, disinfectant, and rinse chemicals in the three-compartment sink to wash tableware. Inspect, remove, and stack clean items; return soiled items for re-washing and cleaning. Place all items on racks and apply hot water spray to loosen and remove food residue. Sort, soak, and wash/re-wash flatware. Sort and separate containers for soiled items. Empty trash bins and maintain the trash storage area. Clean and mop all assigned department areas. Dispose of glass in designated containers. Break down cardboard boxes and other recyclables and place them in the recycling bin. Comply with all company safety policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and hazardous working conditions to management; complete safety training and certifications. Protect company property. Communicate with others using clear and professional language. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others and support the team in achieving common goals. Ensure compliance with quality expectations and standards. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing 50 pounds (22.5 kg) or less without assistance. Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods. Reach above the head and below the knees, including bending, twisting the waist, pulling, and stooping. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.
