**Location:** Atizapán de Zaragoza **Department:** Engineering / Product / Processes **Position Objective** ----------------------- Coordinate the design and development of new products and processes, ensuring their technical and financial viability from conceptualization through industrialization, with a focus on profitability, operational efficiency, and adherence to launch timelines. **Key Responsibilities** --------------------------------- ### **Industrialization and Development** * Coordinate new product launches and re-engineering initiatives, ensuring compliance with cost, capacity, and efficiency targets * Reduce time\-to\-market using structured industrialization methodologies * Conduct technical and financial validation of new developments prior to scaling ### **Optimization and Simplification** * Analyze and reduce portfolio complexity (SKUs, molds, and processes) with an efficiency-focused approach * Promote modular designs to facilitate operational scalability * Align product development with actual manufacturing capabilities ### **Project Management (Engineering PMO)** * Prioritize projects based on impact to margin, costs, and capacity * Coordinate execution using agile methodologies (tracking responsible parties, timelines, and deliverables) * Measure results and economic impact of implemented projects * Manage development processes using Stage\-Gate methodologies **✅** **Requirements** -------------------- ### **Education** * Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or related field * 5–10 years of experience in manufacturing (plastics preferred) * Experience in project management or PMO ### **Technical Knowledge** * Plastic transformation processes (injection molding, thermoforming, extrusion) * OEE, Lean Manufacturing and/or TPM * Industrial costing * Product development (Stage\-Gate) * Design of Experiments (DOE) * Interpretation of engineering drawings and technical specifications * Financial evaluation of projects (ROI, CAPEX) * Knowledge of ISO 9001, FSSC 22000 or IATF is desirable ### **Tools** * Design and modeling software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Illustrator, Esko or similar) **Key Competencies** ---------------------- * Analytical and structured thinking * Cross-functional leadership (collaboration across multiple departments) * Decision-making under pressure * Results- and profitability-oriented mindset **We Offer** ------------- * Base gross salary of $32,900 * Monthly gross bonus of $6,500 for KPI achievement * Additional monthly gross bonus of $3,200 * Gross monthly income of up to $42,700 * Enhanced benefits package * Professional development within a dynamic industrial environment * Involvement in strategic innovation projects **Apply Now** ------------- If you are interested in leading product development and directly impacting business profitability, we want to meet you!
