**Responsibilities**
* Evaluates, selects, and applies standard engineering methods and techniques on work of small projects or on portions of larger projects.
* Receives instructions on specific assignment objectives, complex features, and assistance in deriving possible solutions to unusual problems.
* Perform structural analysis and design of steel, concrete, masonry, and (where applicable) wood structures for industrial and high-performance facilities.
* Develop and review design calculations, models, and drawings for:
+ Building frames and foundations
+ Equipment foundations, pipe racks, platforms, mezzanines, and support structures
+ Structural modifications to existing facilities
* Apply relevant building codes and standards (e.g., IBC, ASCE 7, AISC, ACI, local codes).
* Work as part of a multidiscipline project team (architectural, mechanical, electrical, process, civil, etc.) to coordinate structural requirements and interfaces.
* Contributes to quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) reviews for structural deliverables.
* Reviews construction documents (plans, sections, details, specifications).
* Support the development of structural design criteria and basis-of-design documents.
* Reviews work with supervisor to ensure the application of sound engineering practices and professional judgment.
* Performs design work on CADD.

**What You Will Bring:**
* + Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, with a structural emphasis (or equivalent).
+ **Cédula and Titulo are mandatory requirements**
+ Eight to twelve (8 \- 12\) years of direct experience performing the same activities / responsibilities.
+ Experience with previous large-commercial projects such as Hotels, Airports, Universities, Corporate Offices, etc.
+ Proficiency with structural analysis and design software such as ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD, RAM, RISA or similar.
+ Experience with building codes and standards such as: IBC, ASCE 7, AISC, ACI (and others as applicable).
+ Prior experience with AutoCAD and Revit
+ **Advanced English (Will report to US office)**

* **Desirable Skills:**
+ Experience with structural work on mid- to large-size projects.
+ Familiarity with BIM workflows and multi-discipline model coordination.
+ Working knowledge of Revit for coordination and markup.
