




Job Summary: Industrias Plásticas Luna is seeking extrusion machine operators or similar equipment operators for the production of PVC and polyethylene hoses and profiles, with responsibilities in process control, quality assurance, and team leadership. Teamwork management and leadership Industrias Plásticas Luna, a company dedicated to manufacturing PVC and polyethylene hoses and profiles, is currently seeking personnel to meet its production department staffing needs. We are looking for extrusion machine operators or similar equipment operators, with or without experience in thermoplastic material processing such as flexible PVC and polyethylene, to start work immediately. Responsibilities include the following: * Production of PVC and polyethylene hoses, profiles, and related products using extrusion machines. * Heating, startup, and parameter configuration for production. * Production process control (machine feeding, verification of product dimensions and finish, adjustment of parameters as required). * Proper administration and usage of raw materials for product manufacturing, preventing material waste or degradation. * Quality inspection of manufactured products to ensure compliance with quality specifications; troubleshooting as needed (finish, gauge, dimensions, etc.). * Management and leadership of the assigned production team (including one Production Assistant). * Maintaining a clean and organized work area. * Generating production, quality, and material consumption reports as required. * Submitting production samples for quality department review. * Performing autonomous equipment maintenance (lubrication of components, thermocouple calibration, filter cleaning). * Performing minor corrective maintenance on extrusion machines (replacement of heaters, fuses, connectors, etc.). * Training new machine operators, Production Assistants, and General Helpers. * Inspection and reporting of equipment maintenance tickets (e.g., notifying leaks, vibrations, overheating, etc.). The job may be physically demanding at times. Desired Knowledge: * Reading and interpretation of measuring instruments (Vernier caliper, ammeter, tachometer, multimeter). * Knowledge to operate and control basic aspects of an extrusion machine (startup temperatures, process temperatures, airflow adjustment, finish correction, gauge correction). * Basic mathematical knowledge for process adjustments (rule of three, material percentages, pigment adjustments). * Learning ability. Education: * Completed high school diploma (Mandatory) Experience: * PVC product manufacturing: 1 year (Preferred) * Extrusion or injection process: 3 years (Preferred) Work Location: On-site employment
