Contract type: Fixed-term for the first 3 months; indefinite-term starting from the 4th month. **JOB OBJECTIVE** Supervise and coordinate all activities related to the company's distribution, ensuring efficient and timely assignment of vehicles in accordance with customer specifications and requirements. Manage and evaluate transportation providers, promoting the development of new strategic partners, and verifying compliance with quality, safety, and profitability guidelines established by Suma Logística and its customers. Contribute to optimizing distribution processes, guaranteeing customer satisfaction and strengthening the company's logistical operations. **EDUCATION** High school diploma or currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or related field. **EXPERIENCE** Minimum 2 years of experience in traffic and logistics management. **JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITIES** * **Rate Updates:** Rates must comply with authorized rate tables and commercial terms, without authority to modify margins or conditions without corresponding approval. * **Billing Management:** Submit complete details and supporting evidence required for billing transportation services to the finance department, ensuring clarity in records and avoiding errors that could impact operations. Do not intervene in accounting or tax processes, which are the responsibility of the finance department. * **Customer Procedure Knowledge:** Master security protocols, required documentation, operating hours, contacts, and other specific procedures for each customer, ensuring efficient and personalized service aligned with contracts and their annexes. * **Customer Service:** Handle customer requests from loading point to unloading destination, ensuring compliance with agreed-upon conditions and the established service level, with full traceability. * **Effective Communication:** Maintain smooth communication with customers and suppliers to coordinate required transportation services, ensuring timely and accurate execution. * **Transportation Quotations:** Evaluate transportation options and present proposals to the Operations Manager for validation and, if applicable, customer authorization per current commercial policies. * **Delivery Status Tracking:** Inform customers about product delivery status, providing clear and timely updates to strengthen confidence in the service. * **Coordination with Operations:** Collaborate with the operations team to assign vehicles for material loading and unloading, following customer instructions and operational priorities. * **Standards and Procedures:** Participate in documenting and improving internal standards and procedures related to traffic and logistics, in accordance with the Quality Management System guidelines. * **Commercial Collaboration:** Support the commercial team in preparing quotations for new projects, contributing detailed information on transportation rates and conditions. * **Supplier Evaluation:** Conduct site visits and evaluations of transportation providers, ensuring they meet and maintain the company’s required quality, safety, and profitability standards. Onboarding of new suppliers must follow the approved evaluation procedure and require validation by the Operations Manager. * **Evidence Management:** Submit delivery evidence to customers per established guidelines, ensuring traceability and contractual compliance. * **Audits:** Support internal and external audits conducted by customers and regulatory bodies, in coordination with the quality department, to ensure compliance with regulations and standards. * **Regulatory Compliance:** Ensure contracted transportation providers comply with traffic, tax, and any applicable regulations, minimizing risks to the company. * **Service Reporting:** Prepare and submit detailed reports of services rendered, facilitating their use for billing and operational analysis. * **KPI Monitoring:** Prepare and report monthly key performance indicators (KPIs), analyzing results to identify improvement opportunities in traffic processes. * **Supplier Development:** Identify and develop new transportation service providers, diversifying options and negotiating competitive terms. * **Process Optimization:** Implement workflow improvements aligned with the Quality Management System (QMS) policies, seeking greater operational efficiency. * **Risk Management:** Participate in identifying area-specific risks, proposing preventive and improvement actions to mitigate potential impacts based on supply chain security risk analyses. * **Logistical Resource Control:** Supervise the availability and proper allocation of resources such as transportation vehicles, operators, and materials required for operations. * **Staff Training:** Propose and coordinate training for personnel involved in traffic operations, ensuring updated competencies to meet evolving logistics demands. * **Urgency Handling:** Manage unforeseen or urgent situations arising in traffic operations, making rapid and effective decisions to ensure service continuity in collaboration with the Operations Manager. Promptly inform the Operations Manager when situations involve financial, contractual, or reputational impact.
