Sensory Analyst

Job Summary: Conduct sensory research and development activities, including training and maintenance of sensory judges, and sensory testing for new products and reformulations. Key Responsibilities: 1. Lead sensory research and development of products. 2. Manage and train sensory panels. 3. Evaluate new products and raw materials. **Objective:** Perform activities within the research and development department specifically focused on sensory evaluation, including training, selection, and maintenance of sensory judges; sensory testing for new product development, shelf-life studies, reformulations, commercial samples, raw material evaluations, and/or product release. **Education:** Chemical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, Food Engineering, Chemistry and Pharmacy (QFB), or Biotechnology Engineering. **Responsibilities:** * Recruitment and training of sensory panels. * Training, evaluation, and maintenance of panelists. * Management of sensory testing for new products. * Sensory evaluation of products during shelf-life studies. * Sensory evaluation of finished products made with new raw materials. * Sensory evaluation of finished products manufactured at the plant. * Preparation of reports/summary reports of results. * Strategies to encourage panelist participation. * Sensory training of quality inspectors. * Evaluation of commercial samples and/or reference samples. * Evaluation of commercial samples and/or reference samples.
