Job Description A manufacturing-sector company specializing in the production of industrial tools and components is seeking a **CNC Machine Operator** to join its production team. The position is responsible for operating CNC machinery to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable execution of manufacturing processes, guaranteeing compliance with the plant’s established quality, productivity, and safety standards. We seek candidates with prior experience in industrial or manufacturing environments—ideally from sectors such as metalworking, automotive, or advanced manufacturing—with solid operational knowledge and a continuous improvement orientation. Responsibilities * Operate CNC machinery in accordance with operational procedures, safety standards, and technical specifications. * Carry out production activities ensuring precision, quality, and adherence to scheduled timelines. * Perform autonomous maintenance and TPM activities on assigned equipment. * Monitor operational performance using efficiency, utilization, productivity, and defect rate indicators. * Record production data and ensure traceability of work orders. * Interpret engineering drawings, tolerances, and operational sequences for part machining. * Verify dimensions and specifications using measuring instruments. * Identify operational deviations and promptly report any anomalies. * Participate in failure investigations and corrective actions. * Maintain 5S standards in the workplace. * Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within manufacturing processes. Requirements * Technical high school diploma, technical degree, or equivalent manufacturing industry experience. * Minimum of **2 to 4 years** of experience operating CNC machinery in industrial environments or manufacturing centers. * Experience in production processes, machining, or metalworking manufacturing. * Current residence in Monterrey or its metropolitan area (**mandatory**). * Availability to work on-site under a **rotating 3-shift schedule**. Technical Knowledge * CNC machine operation. * MAZAK control knowledge preferred. * Proficiency in cutting tools for lathes and milling machines. * Use of measuring instruments (vernier calipers, micrometers, gauges). * Interpretation of technical drawings and symbols. * Interpretation of tolerances and machining sequences. * Basic knowledge of CNC programming codes. * Knowledge of part alignment (runout, concentricity, ovality, and taper). * Experience with high-hardness and stainless materials preferred. * On-machine programming experience preferred. * Basic knowledge of trigonometry applied to manufacturing (preferred).
