Training and promotion of environmental awareness **Job Objective** Conduct on-site supervision of compliance with environmental regulations during construction project execution, ensuring correct implementation of preventive, mitigation, and impact control measures in accordance with applicable regulations and project guidelines. **Functions and Responsibilities** **Field Supervision:** * Verify compliance with environmental measures established in the project. * Conduct daily site inspections to identify environmental risks and impacts. * Supervise contractors’ and personnel’s environmental-related activities. * Ensure proper use of designated areas for waste, materials, and machinery. **Waste Control:** * Supervise correct segregation, storage, and disposal of waste. * Verify handling of hazardous waste according to applicable regulations. * Maintain logs and records of waste generated on site. **Regulatory Compliance:** * Ensure compliance with environmental regulations (SEMARNAT, PROFEPA, local authorities). * Support environmental inspections and audits. * Verify possession of valid permits, licenses, and documentation. **Monitoring and Reporting:** * Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly environmental compliance reports. * Report environmental incidents or deviations. * Document photographic evidence and compliance records. **Training and Environmental Awareness:** * Deliver induction and environmental training sessions to site personnel. * Promote good environmental practices on site. * Support environmental awareness campaigns. **Job Profile** **Education:** * Technical degree or Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Industrial, Civil Engineering, or related field. **Experience:** * 1–3 years of field environmental supervision experience in construction projects or infrastructure works. **Technical Knowledge:** * Mexican environmental regulations. * Management of hazardous and non-hazardous waste. * Identification of environmental aspects and impacts. * Preparation of reports and logs. * Basic knowledge of environmental management systems (ISO 14001 preferred). **Skills:** * Observation and attention to detail. * Fieldwork capability. * Effective communication. * Organization and follow-up. * Proactivity.
