*This job posting originates from the Talenteca.com job board* ### **Job Opening at HRI Group in Anzures \- Miguel Hidalgo, Mexico City** Environmental Engineer Requirements: * Solid knowledge of environmental legislation. * Ability to assess, advise on, and ensure compliance with ecological regulations in organizational projects and operations. * Scientific knowledge combined with a legal perspective to ensure sustainability and respect for the natural environment. * Education: Bachelor's degree in Biology, Environmental Sciences, or related fields. * Certificate program or Master's degree in Environmental Law, Environmental Management, or Environmental Impact Assessment. * Experience: Minimum 2 years in projects related to legal compliance or environmental management. Responsibilities: * Interpret and apply current environmental legislation (LGEEPA, NOMs, state and municipal regulations). * Prepare or review environmental impact statements and technical reports. * Coordinate permit, license, and procedural management with agencies such as SEMARNAT, PROFEPA, CONAGUA, among others. * Conduct internal environmental inspections or audits. * Implement strategies for prevention, mitigation, and compensation of environmental impacts. * Advise on regulatory compliance and waste management. * Collaborate on conservation programs, environmental education, and sustainability initiatives.
