




Position Summary: A leading textile company is seeking an Import Assistant to coordinate and manage import processes and customs documentation. Key Responsibilities: 1. End-to-end management of import and customs processes 2. Coordination with customs agents and review of documentation 3. Application of trade agreements and regulatory compliance **Leading company in the Textile sector.** **Hiring an Import Assistant** **Requirements** * Education: **Bachelor’s degree in International Trade or related field (graduated or intern).** * Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position. * Intermediate English proficiency * Excel proficiency (Intermediate\-Advanced). **We Offer:** * Competitive salary * Weekly payment * Savings fund * Year-end bonus exceeding statutory requirements * Savings account * Vacation bonus exceeding statutory requirements And other benefits Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 6:00 pm **Responsibilities:** * Tracking shipping labels (courier packages) upon arrival and calculating applicable taxes for notification to receiving department * Coordinating air freight shipments together with the customs agent * Reviewing tax calculations and customs declarations prior to payment by the customs agent * Requesting certification and authorization for labels from UVA (Authorized Verification Unit) * Reviewing tariff classifications, estimated values, customs accounts, and automatic permits * Implementing trade agreements with other countries * Receiving invoices for ocean freight, domestic land transportation, custody services, and UVA services, and scheduling these documents for payment * Submitting all documentation generated per import transaction to the Accounting Department for recording * Maintaining the general import archive * Preparing documentation required for cargo release Employment type: Indefinite-term position Salary: $10,000\.00 \- $13,000\.00 per month Benefits: * Savings account * Option for indefinite-term contract * Food vouchers Work location: On-site employment
