Position Summary: Ensure the continuous flow of materials and products by coordinating imports, exports, and customs compliance, guaranteeing the legality of operations. Key Highlights: 1. Management of incentive programs and administration of customs inventories **POSITION PURPOSE:** Ensure the continuous flow of materials and products through proper coordination of import, export, transportation, and customs compliance processes, guaranteeing that all operations comply with customs law, applicable regulations, and certifications. **REQUIREMENTS:** * ***Education:*** Bachelor's degree in International Business, Foreign Trade, or related field. * ***Experience:*** 5 years in foreign trade and customs within the electronics/automotive industry (IMMEX, PROSEC, Annex 24 and 30 / Tariff classification / Air, maritime, and land operations / Coordination with customs brokers / Internal and external audits). * ***Knowledge:*** Customs Law, Incoterms, IMP/EXP documentation, Customs inventory control * ***Language:*** Advanced English * ***ERP:*** SAP * ***Work Modality:*** On site. **MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:** ***Operational Coordination of Foreign Trade*** * Daily supervision of IMI’s imports and exports. * Coordination with customs brokers, carriers, and procurement to ensure on-time deliveries. * Prioritization of operations to prevent material shortages or shipment delays. * Verification of correct closure of customs and logistics operations. ***Legal and Customs Compliance*** * Ensure compliance with the Customs Law and applicable regulations. * Review tariff classifications, certificates of origin, and document validity periods. * Supervise timely payment of customs entries (imports, exports, and virtual). * Manage the digital “record keeping” file for each operation. ***Management of Incentive Programs (IMMEX / PROSEC / Rule 8th / etc.)*** * Administer the IMMEX program and other foreign trade schemes. * Prepare and submit the monthly maquila report. * Ensure compliance with requirements to maintain fiscal and operational benefits. ***Administration of Customs Inventories (ZOE)*** * Register all import operations in ZOE. * Validate that the customs broker correctly registers the information. * Maintain control of formats such as UDR and required reconciliations. ***Supplier Relations and Negotiation*** * Request freight and customs service quotations. * Negotiate cost improvements with key suppliers. * Manage and resolve supplier non-compliance issues in terms of timing or form. ***Audits and Certifications*** * Support and follow up on CTPAT, AEO, IVA-IEPS, IATF, etc. audits. * Verify compliance by customs brokers, carriers, and logistics providers. * Support maintenance of customs and security certifications. ***Billing Control and Validation*** * Review billing from customs brokers, carriers, and fiscalized facilities. * Coordinate the approval workflow to ensure accurate and timely payments. **At IMI Mexico, we value and respect individual differences, fostering professional and personal development in a fair, safe, ethical, inclusive, and discrimination-free work environment.** **IMI Mexico is an equal opportunity employer, without distinction based on personal, social, or cultural characteristics.**
