Summary: Seeking a Purchasing professional to manage electronic component procurement, ensure on-time delivery, optimize costs, and maintain supplier relationships within a quality-focused environment. Highlights: 1. Manage electronic component procurement and supplier relationships 2. Focus on cost optimization and on-time delivery for production 3. Resolve discrepancies in components and invoices **OBJECTIVE** Fulfill the needs of the production program (electronic components) and ensure on\-time delivery at the best possible cost. Work within the parameters of the QM System to support the company in achieving its overall and specific quality efforts, as well as its growth objectives. **RESPONSIBILITIES** * Assign purchase orders to specific suppliers for required components. * Place orders according to project requirements. * Order based on part shortages and internal production documents. * Maintain and update inventory levels for stock items along with the weekly reorder report. * Maintain a good working relationship with suppliers. * Maintain and update supplier information and documentation. * Clarify and resolve discrepancies in components and errors in the bill of materials (BOM). * Coordinate delivery or invoice discrepancies with receiving and accounts payable. * Expedite overdue orders with suppliers. * Submit requests for quotations to suppliers to obtain the best pricing and delivery terms. * Update component information (e.g., pricing, discounts, minimum/multiple quantities, and lead times) in the MRP system. * Perform previous production cost calculations. * Manage the supplier rating system. * Keep the work area clean and organized as needed. * Perform other duties as assigned. * Maintain material traceability as required. **POSITION REQUIREMENTS** * Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Trade, or a related field. * Over 2 years of experience in purchasing within an electronic manufacturing environment, focus on PCB and related * Understanding of electronic product distribution structures and knowledge of major market players. * Comprehensive knowledge of all aspects related to the production of electronic, mechanical, and precision subassemblies and assemblies. * Advanced English level. * Valid visa and availability to travel if required.
