Dining Hall employees enable missionaries and Church staff to focus on their most important work by providing meal services.
Responsibilities:
* Prepares food following intermediate to difficult recipes, including main dishes, soups, salads, etc., as directed by the chef or supervisor.
* Maintains a clean work area.
* Can serve meals to customers.
* Works to meet time and quantity requirements as dictated by the situation.
* Ensures proper food handling and leftover management.
Requirements:
* 1 to 3 years or more of dining hall experience, with at least 6 months of that experience in food preparation.
* Knowledge of food preparation and ability to follow menus
* Ability to operate a variety of kitchen equipment
* Strong communication skills and courtesy when interacting with others
* Must be able to lift, move, or maneuver objects weighing up to 20 kilograms, stand for the duration of the shift, perform repetitive motions, and work in a fast-paced environment
* Must be punctual and capable of working independently
