




Position Summary: The Shipment Coordinator ensures the correct and timely execution of the goods shipment process, guaranteeing record accuracy and risk communication. Key Responsibilities: 1. Coordination and prioritization of shipments with customers and carriers. 2. Supervision and validation of goods to ensure safe loading. 3. Management of documentation and technical evidence for each handling operation. Logistics Storage Company is seeking our new Shipment Coordinator. Objective: Ensure the proper execution of the multi-client goods shipment process, guaranteeing on-time delivery, correct physical and system-based record accuracy, compliance with the shipment schedule, and prompt communication of any risks or impediments arising during shipment activities. Tasks or Functions to Perform: * Coordinate the shipment schedule with customers and carriers. * Prioritize orders according to delivery and shipment deadlines, customer type, and channel. * Balance workload against operational capacity (loading docks, personnel, vehicles). * Ensure load sequencing and routing. * Validate that the load map is recorded and reported against the physical load entered into the transport vehicle. * Validate transportation documentation. * Issue the cargo manifest and collect corresponding signatures and seals. * Timely inform internal and external teams of shipments via authorized channels. * Detect, communicate, and manage: shortages, picking errors, packing errors, product damage, loading delays. Any deviation from the process must be immediately communicated to the internal team. * Validate safe loading conditions. * Measure transportation appointment compliance. Responsibilities: * Execute the daily shipment plan together with Account Supervisors. * Supervise and validate goods in transport vehicles according to each account’s requirements. * Document shipment evidence. * Manage dock assignments and crew distribution. * Document and safeguard technical evidence (photos, seals, logs) for each handling operation performed. * Conduct physical inspections of transport vehicles and loading equipment (ramps, pallet jacks, conveyors). We Offer: * Fee-based contract. * Working days: Monday through Saturday. Position Type: Full-time Salary: $13,000\.00 \- $16,000\.00 per month Work Location: On-site employment
