Job Summary: We are seeking an electrical technician to perform splices and welds, apply knowledge of AC/DC current, and assist with installations in cathodic protection systems. Key Highlights: 1. Performing electrical splices and Cadweld welds. 2. Assisting with the installation of cathodic protection systems. 3. Extensive experience is not required. Main Responsibilities: Perform electrical splices using mechanical lugs. Execute Cadweld-type welds for permanent connections. Prepare Y-splices and epoxy resin splices for insulation and protection. Handle and apply basic knowledge of alternating current (AC) and direct current (DC) in cathodic protection systems. Assist with the installation of cables and anode connections in cathodic protection beds. Comply with electrical and industrial safety standards during all activities. Report progress and requirements to the Site Supervisor. Requirements: Education: Electrical technician certification or completed secondary education with practical electricity knowledge. Experience: Extensive experience is not required; prior participation in electrical construction projects or energy infrastructure projects will be valued. Knowledge: Electrical splices using mechanical lugs. Cadweld welding. Y-splices and resin splices. Basic principles of alternating and direct current.
