You have the opportunity to join our team as an **EHS\&S Specialist** at our experimental center in **Puerto Vallarta**, **Mexico.** The EHS\&S Specialist is a key member of our global safety communities and works closely with the Research Center’s Operations Manager, as well as our EHS\&S LATAM safety community partners. **Responsibilities** * Support the Puerto Vallarta Research Center in implementing, reviewing, and monitoring standards. * Lead the implementation of environmental, health, and safety standards at the Puerto Vallarta station in close collaboration with the Center’s Operations Manager. * Lead the transition of Standards and Policies toward safety excellence in our seasonal activities. * Ensure training programs are appropriate, consistent, and up to date. * Develop, document, and train on standard operating procedures. * Train and guide full-time, part-time, seasonal, and temporary staff. * Participate in safety community meetings with the EHS\&S Community Leader. * Oversee contractor maintenance activities and work permit compliance. * Serve as the focal point for safety tasks to ensure critical safety points are covered. * Ensure safety and facility protection policies are communicated, followed, and enforced. **Requirements** * Safety Professional, Industrial Hygiene, or related field degree. * Minimum 2 years of experience in similar positions. * Strong interpersonal skills and fluent written and verbal communication. * Comfortable designing and delivering training for both large and small groups. * Ability to work independently and collaboratively. * Experience and proficiency with computer systems and software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and a willingness to quickly learn new digital tools and applications. * Flexibility to accommodate variable schedules and support off-shift teams as needed. * Intermediate level of English.
