We are seeking a **Junior Safety and Hygiene Engineer** to join our **Environment, Health and Safety (EHS)** team, playing a key role in executing programs, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing operational support at the plant. This position directly contributes to maintaining a safe, healthy workplace aligned with the company’s legal and corporate standards. The person in this role will be responsible for **implementing and monitoring safety and hygiene programs**, delivering **safety training**, participating in **incident investigations**, as well as supporting **environmental management** and site-level operational controls. Additionally, they will collaborate on the development and implementation of **continuous improvement projects**, including initiatives integrating **Artificial Intelligence tools to optimize EHS processes**. This position reports to the **EHS Leader** and maintains ongoing interaction with operational teams and specialized vendors. **Key Responsibilities:** * Execute and monitor EHS programs and compliance with legal and corporate initiatives * Deliver safety training according to the established schedule * Participate in incident investigation and analysis, as well as in defining corrective actions * Manage SDS, logs, environmental controls, and safety documentation * Oversee waste control, emissions management, and administration of water and soil * Support internal audits, SEAL and PEAK initiatives, and continuous improvement projects * Coordinate and monitor external vendors related to environmental and safety services This position requires **availability to work mixed and night shifts**, providing operational support as needed and ensuring safety guidelines are followed across all operating hours.
