Works with engineering, facilities, and operations staff Description and details of activities The primary responsibility of this position is direct support of specialized manufacturing equipment used in manufacturing operations. * Responsible for direct support of specialized manufacturing equipment and automation used in operations. * Independently determines and develops a solutions approach to reduce downtime of critical equipment. * Preventive maintenance and calibration of specialized manufacturing equipment and automation. * Follow up on preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance plans. For all plant equipment. * Maintain the plant's equipment in optimal conditions. * Works with other members of the engineering team, facilities and operations staff to review and update key equipment documentation. * Help in the deployment of new technology. * Independently determines and develops a solutions approach to reduce downtime of critical equipment. Experience and requirements * English 80% * Strong software and hardware troubleshooting skills. * Knowledge of Microsoft products, including Office, Visio, and Project; SAP (or other ERP system). * Work with hand tools. * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance. * Electro Mechanical technician.
