Direct coordination with clients and EHS permit management A prominent firm in Environmental and Occupational Safety & Health Consulting seeks an EHS Project Engineer for its EHS Consulting Department. **Related fields**: Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Administrative Engineering, Chemical Engineering with Administration, Environmental Engineering **Experience**: 6 months to 1 year **IMPORTANT**: Residence in Santa Catarina or no issues commuting to Santa Catarina. **IMPORTANT**: Ability to commute (personal vehicle required) **Skills**: * Teamwork * Organization * Communication * Critical thinking * Problem solving * Initiative * Responsibility **Requirements**: * Related degrees: Engineering or Bachelor’s degrees in Chemistry, Industrial, Environmental, Sustainability, etc. * Knowledge of Federal and State Environmental Regulations * Knowledge of STPS, Civil Protection, and Health (general) * Personal vehicle * Mobility flexibility **Responsibilities**: * Client visits 3–4 days per week * Direct client coordination and execution of Municipal, State, and Federal permits: hazardous and non-hazardous waste, COA’s, wastewater discharges, MIA’s, operating licenses, ecological taxes * Familiarity with DIGIPRIS portal for COFEPRIS procedures * Submission/retrieval of permits from various government agencies * Updating legal compliance matrices and meeting minutes during weekly client meetings * Scheduling appointments, site visits, or inspections with clients (Outlook) * Managing follow-up emails with clients or, as applicable, suppliers **We Offer**: * Salary range: MXN 12,000 – 15,000 (pre-tax) * Statutory benefits * Initial contract term: 3 months * Opportunity for growth and development * Additional benefits after 6 months: SGMM, life insurance, funeral expense insurance, grocery vouchers * Gasoline allowance for plant visits Employment Type: Full-time, Project-based or Fixed-term, Probationary period Contract Duration: 3 months Salary: $12,000.00 – $15,000.00 per month Benefits: * Transportation assistance or service * Option for indefinite-term contract * Major medical expense insurance * Grocery vouchers Application Question(s): * Are you able to commute to the municipality of Santa Catarina? * Do you have a personal vehicle? * What is your availability to work?
