A leading company specializing in the sale of chromatography equipment and industrial services is currently seeking a Service Engineer to join its team. **General Purpose:** Ensure optimal and continuous operation of marketed analytical equipment by delivering installation, calibration, preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnostics, training, and specialized technical support services. Ensure compliance with internal standards, methodologies, and processes, while providing timely on-site and remote customer support—contributing to equipment reliability and customer satisfaction. **Main Responsibilities:** * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on analytical equipment according to established plans and schedules. * Respond to and resolve equipment failures through initial diagnostics, ensuring efficient response times. * Install and commission new equipment at customer facilities. * Perform calibrations, performance qualifications, installation, operation, and functional testing of equipment as applicable. * Provide on-site, office-based, and telephone technical support. * Train end users on proper equipment operation and maintenance. * Advise customers on required technical specifications prior to installation. * Support the sales department with technical specifications and equipment applications. * Advise the administrative department on part number identification and spare parts. * Collaborate with various internal departments and suppliers to ensure proper service execution. * Prepare technical service reports (internal logs). * Manage documentation required for access to customer plants or facilities (exams, courses, certifications). * Maintain up-to-date technical information and service records. * Study technical manuals (in Spanish and English) from various brands, models, and technologies. * Attend manufacturer-provided training courses and certification programs. * Pursue continuous learning in chromatography and analytical technologies. **Required Experience:** * Experience as a Service Engineer. * Field customer service experience (frequent site visits / travel) – 70% or more. * Experience providing technical support. * Knowledge of analytical equipment (measurement, composition). * Preventive and corrective maintenance. * Fundamentals of electronics. * English (Desirable) Employment Type: Full-time Salary: $13,000.00 - $20,000.00 per month Benefits: * Company vehicle * Free parking * Option for indefinite-term contract Work Location: On-site employment
