Job Summary: We are seeking a Distribution and Warehouse Supervisor to ensure operational efficiency, manage logistics, and foster collaboration and teamwork. Key Responsibilities: 1. Coordinate warehouse operations from receiving to dispatch. 2. Manage and supervise operational staff, ensuring productivity. 3. Control inventory and ensure compliance with operational processes. MONTENEGRO EDITORES — A publishing house specializing in educational and didactic book content — is looking for your talent for the position: ***Distribution and Warehouse Supervisor*** Job Objective: Ensure operational efficiency and management of the logistics department, while promoting collaboration, feedback, and teamwork. Responsibilities: * Coordinate operations for receiving, validation, placement, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch. * Operational staff management: assign tasks, supervise productivity and process compliance, and promptly report personnel incidents under supervision. * Provide support and follow-up for training of newly hired and/or trainee staff. * Supervise proper use of PPE and identify unsafe conditions. * Detect and correct operational and internal process deviations. * Ensure adherence to material flow timelines within the warehouse. * Verify compliance with operational procedures, work instructions, and the 5S methodology. * Inventory control: execute and supervise cycle counts, detect discrepancies, and ensure accurate recording of movements in the system. * Monitor KPIs related to operations and personnel. We Offer: * Monthly gross salary of $16,000.00 to $18,000.00 (based on experience). Full IMSS registration (biweekly payment). * Meal vouchers of $1,000.00, subject to attendance and punctuality. * Statutory benefits and additional days off beyond those mandated by law. * Working hours Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Availability to work Saturdays (during peak season). * Major Medical Expense Insurance (effective after the third month). * Annual Profit-Sharing (PTU). Requirements: * Minimum 4 years of experience in warehouse operations (mandatory). * 2 years of experience as a supervisor or team leader with direct responsibility for operational staff (mandatory). * Knowledge of safety and quality standards for implementation of industrial safety regulations and good materials handling practices (mandatory). * Intermediate proficiency in WMS or ERP systems, preferably SAP (mandatory). * Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office suite for report generation and tracking (mandatory). * Experience managing operational KPIs, with focus on personnel and processes (mandatory). * Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, or Kaizen (desirable). * Operation of HP and HS forklifts (not mandatory).
