You will work directly on the development and maintenance of internal systems supporting the customs agency’s operations, with close mentorship and professional development opportunities. This position is ideal for recent graduates who want to build solid experience on a project with real operational impact from day one. ***What You’ll Do*** * Develop and maintain internal web systems for customs operations management. * Participate in the full development lifecycle: design, implementation, testing, and deployment. * Use AI tools for development. * Collaborate with the operations team to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions. * Document code and development processes clearly and systematically. * Support data integration between internal systems. * Participate in code reviews and technical feedback sessions. Required Profile * Graduate of Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. * Knowledge of object-oriented programming (any language). * Understanding of relational databases and basic SQL queries. * Familiarity with web development (frontend, backend, or both at an academic level). * Ability to read and understand code written by others. * Continuous learning attitude, proactivity, and attention to detail. * Residency in Nogales, Sonora, or willingness to relocate. Preferred Tech Stack (not mandatory) Not required, but candidates with experience or knowledge in the following technologies will be prioritized: * Python — Django (web backend) * JavaScript — React (frontend) * PostgreSQL (relational database) * Git and version control * Docker (basic) If your tech stack differs but you have solid programming fundamentals, we still encourage you to apply.
