Environmental safety and waste management training A leading waste collection company is seeking a **WASTE MANAGEMENT SUPERVISOR**. **Location:** FORD, Cuautitlán Izcalli, State of México. **Working Hours:** Monday to Saturday, 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM. **Job Objective:** Supervise and ensure compliance with environmental regulations in activities related to the collection, transportation, storage, and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous waste, promoting safe and sustainable practices that minimize environmental impact. **Main Responsibilities:** * Verify compliance with applicable environmental legislation (LGPGIR, NOMs, SEMARNAT, PROFEPA). * Supervise waste collection and transportation operations, ensuring proper use of vehicles and containers. * Coordinate safe waste management in accordance with current regulations. * Develop and update waste management and environmental contingency plans. * Participate in internal and external environmental audits. * Train operational staff on environmental safety and waste management topics. **Requirements:** * Minimum 2 years of experience in this position. * Proficiency in tools such as Excel and databases. * Bachelor’s degree or Engineering degree in occupational safety and hygiene, environmental sciences, or related field. * **Experience managing unionized personnel (MANDATORY)** * Knowledge of safety and waste regulations (preferred). **We Offer:** * Monthly gross salary of $18,000. * Grocery vouchers * Restaurant vouchers * Savings fund * Savings box * 30 days’ year-end bonus * 50% vacation bonus * Life insurance
