Join our team to continue building our success story together. **Job Description** -------------------------- As a Massage Therapist I, you will be responsible for performing therapeutic massages for clients, focusing on soft tissues and joints. This role may assist in evaluating range of motion and muscular strength, as well as developing customized therapy plans for each client.**Job Functions and Responsibilities** -------------------------------------------- * Assess clients’ specific needs, such as muscle stiffness, joint mobility, or stress relief. * Develop customized therapy plans according to clients’ individual requirements. * Apply a variety of massage techniques, including but not limited to Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage. * Maintain open communication with clients, adjusting massage techniques as needed to ensure comfort, satisfaction, and effectiveness. * Document treatments, progress, and client concerns to provide the most comprehensive care possible. * Ensure compliance with licensing requirements and professional standards. * Maintain the highest level of client confidentiality and professionalism at all times. * Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend appropriate self-care techniques for home use. * Complete additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned. **Work Experience** ----------------------- * Requires knowledge and skills acquired through formal training or substantial work experience * Works within established procedures with a moderate degree of supervision * Has 2–3 years of work experience **Competencies** ---------------- Accountability Business Acumen Advocating for Guest Needs Self-Development Impact Interpersonal Skills Functional Job Knowledge Leadership Problem Solving Teamwork and Collaboration**Education** ------------- * High school diploma or equivalent preferred. * A combination of education and experience will be considered. **Certifications** ------------------- * Certifications may be required or preferred.
