




Position Summary: Provides in-store operational support for sales, merchandise arrangement, and customer service to achieve performance indicators and goals. Key Responsibilities: 1. Merchandise arrangement and planogram execution 2. Customer service and cash register transaction processing 3. Participation in store opening, closing, and cleaning tasks Provide floor-level operational support in stores by adhering to AutoZone’s established operational processes related to sales, merchandise arrangement, and customer service, collaborating effectively to meet assigned store’s operational and commercial performance indicators. * Arrange merchandise on the sales floor, in overflow areas, and in trucks per applicable merchandising guidelines. * Execute accurate planograms; * Scan merchandise to fulfill inventory counts; * Perform proper front-facing and labeling to categorize merchandise, and participate in store opening and closing procedures as well as sales floor cleaning activities to ensure correct product placement and overall store presentation. * Provide customer service by addressing inquiries regarding product location, specific product type information, functionality, and pricing to deliver excellent service reflected in counter sales closures; handle customer phone calls to clarify questions about specific products or orders. * Accurately execute cash register transactions involving cash or credit/debit cards, and process returns in compliance with AutoZone’s cash register policy to ensure effective payment collection and sales transaction closure. * High school diploma or equivalent * Prior experience as a warehouse associate, cashier, or general assistant. * Customer service experience preferred.
