SALES REPRESENTATIVE

Description

Position Summary: Support in-store operational activities on the sales floor, fulfilling sales processes, merchandise arrangement, and customer service to achieve operational and commercial performance indicators. Key Responsibilities: 1. Collaborate in achieving operational and commercial performance indicators. 2. Arrange and display merchandise on the sales floor. 3. Provide excellent customer service and address customer inquiries. Provide support for in-store operational activities on the sales floor by executing applicable operational processes related to sales, merchandise arrangement, and customer service as established by AutoZone, collaborating effectively to meet the operational and commercial performance indicators of the assigned store. * Arrange merchandise on the sales floor, excess inventory, and trucks in accordance with applicable merchandise arrangement guidelines. * Execute correct planograms; * Scan merchandise to complete inventory counts; * Perform proper “fronting” and labeling to classify merchandise, and participate in store opening and closing tasks, as well as cleaning activities on the sales floor, to ensure correct merchandise arrangement and store presentation. * Handle customer service interactions by clarifying questions regarding product location, specific product type information, function, and price, thereby delivering excellent service reflected in point-of-sale transaction closures; and respond to customer phone calls to clarify questions about specific products or orders. * Accurately execute cash register transactions using cash or credit/debit cards, and process returns in compliance with the cash register payment policy to ensure effective payment processing and sales transaction closures. * High school diploma or equivalent * Prior experience as a warehouse associate, cashier, or general assistant. * Customer service experience is preferred.
