Job Summary: Provide in-store operational support in sales, merchandise stocking, and customer service to achieve operational and commercial performance metrics. Key Responsibilities: 1. Be part of a team that values dedication Provide floor-level operational support by executing established AutoZone operational processes related to sales, merchandise stocking, and customer service, ensuring proper compliance to meet the assigned store’s operational and commercial performance metrics. * Stock merchandise on the sales floor, in overstock areas, and in delivery trucks, following applicable stocking guidelines. * Execute correct planograms; * Scan merchandise to complete inventory counts; * Perform proper “fronting” and labeling to classify merchandise, and participate in store opening and closing tasks as well as sales-floor cleaning activities to ensure accurate merchandise stocking and optimal store presentation. * Handle customer inquiries by clarifying questions regarding product location, specific product type information, function, and price, thereby delivering excellent service reflected in front-counter sales closures; also handle customer phone calls to address inquiries about specific products or orders. * Accurately perform cash register transactions—including cash and card payments—and process returns in strict compliance with AutoZone’s point-of-sale payment policies to ensure effective payment collection and sales transaction completion. * High school diploma completed * Prior experience as a warehouse associate, cashier, or general assistant. * Customer service experience preferred.
