**POSITION:** Public Areas **DEPARTMENT:** Housekeeping **REPORTS TO:** Housekeeping Supervisor **JOB DESCRIPTION** Responsible for cleaning assigned common areas. **ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:** ========================= * Perform tasks assigned by housekeeping supervisors, including assisting room attendants during room lockout or unlock procedures. * Clean terraces, restrooms, restaurant areas, bars, offices, and sales rooms. * Know and properly use various cleaning supplies (powdered soap, acidic detergents, alkaline detergents, neutral soap, stain removers, etc.). * Know and properly apply various disinfecting products. * Assist with inventory counts. * Place "Wet Floor" signs in designated areas as needed. * Use work tools appropriately and wear personal protective equipment when handling chemicals (safety goggles), wear a lifting belt when carrying heavy objects, and wear non-slip boots when mopping floors. * Polish assigned areas: lobby, restaurant, sales room. * Assist in stocking pool towels and collecting used towels from the pool area.
