*Cost Control Engineer*
We are seeking a highly qualified **Cost Control Engineer** to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, budgets, and financial analyses for construction projects, ensuring compliance with quality and efficiency standards. In-depth knowledge of the **OPUS** system, as well as analytical and project management skills, are required.
**Key Responsibilities and Functions:**
* Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring proper allocation of resources and materials.
* Perform detailed cost estimations using the **OPUS** system, ensuring adherence to established timelines and budgets.
* Analyze and evaluate cost variances and report irregularities.
* Collaborate with the project team to identify opportunities for improving cost efficiency.
* Provide financial progress reports and cost forecasts to the management team.
* Ensure compliance with regulations and quality requirements in all estimates and budgets.
* Participate in contract management and supplier bid analysis.
* Field and office work
**Essential Requirements:**
* Immediate availability, full-time, and willingness to travel (Puebla, Guadalajara)
* Residence no more than 50 minutes away by commute
* University degree in Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in cost estimation, budgeting, and project management.
* Full proficiency in the **OPUS** system and experience using it in construction environments
* Personal computer equipped with the OPUS system
* Solid knowledge of regulations and laws related to construction and project management.
* Strong analytical skills and ability to work with data and financial management systems.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
* Proactivity and ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
