




Job Summary: We are seeking a self-motivated, eager-to-learn technician to perform operational testing, validate specifications, and improve production processes for electrical equipment. Key Highlights: 1. Perform and document operational tests on electrical equipment. 2. Provide feedback to improve production processes. 3. Opportunity to train and mentor team members. ***Essential Duties and Responsibilities*** 1\. Perform and document operational test procedures to ensure proper equipment functionality in accordance with technical documentation and applicable standards. 2\. Validate customer specifications and special specifications versus panel construction. 3\. Perform insulation resistance tests per established procedure according to customer specifications. 4\. Perform continuity tests per established procedure. 5\. Perform mechanical tests on equipment (switches, relays, etc.) to ensure proper functionality. 6\. Validate, record, and ensure all deviations identified during testing are clarified and corrected. 7\. Provide constructive and respectful feedback to the production plant regarding findings to improve production processes. 8\. Follow and apply SEL values, operating principles, world-class manufacturing principles, and SEL safety standards. 9\. Train and mentor team members and suggest modifications to work instructions as needed. 10\. Improve test area performance and efficiency: Identify, Measure, Improve, Analyze. Work independently, efficiently, and effectively. 11\. Understand. Create. Simplify. 12\. Other duties as assigned. ***Required Qualifications*** Associate of Science (AS) degree in an electricity-related field—e.g., Electrical Technician, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related discipline. Self-motivated with a continuous desire to learn and find solutions. Basic English (able to read drawings). Strong written, documentation, and verbal communication skills. Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities. Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment. Satisfactory background check results for SEL. Negative drug test result(s). ***Preferred Qualifications*** Experience with Windows operating system and Microsoft Office. Knowledge of performing tests on electrical panels. Familiarity with electrical, mechanical, and plating materials. Ability to interpret electrical, mechanical, and functional diagrams. Knowledge of quality tools and standards. More than 2 years of manufacturing experience. ***Physical Requirements*** None
