Responsibilities 1. Conducts activities contributing to and fulfilling the company’s sustainability strategy, focusing on improving its economic, social, environmental, and governance impact. 2. Periodically evaluates applicable environmental legal requirements according to the annual review plan to prevent fines and/or administrative sanctions that could negatively affect organizational performance and development due to failure to apply relevant legislation. 3. Periodically develops, maintains, and updates the document management system—including instructions, procedures, other documents, templates, etc.—ensuring compliance with current sustainability-related legislation governing organizational activities, thereby keeping the document management system up to date. 4. Manages and follows up on procedures before federal, state, and municipal authorities related to environmental matters for obtaining permits and licenses authorizing the execution of sustainable activities and new projects. 5. Ensures compliance with the legal compliance matrix; prepares compliance reports for terms and conditions, as well as for prevention and mitigation measures outlined in various environmental impact and land-use change resolutions issued for the organization, ensuring timely submission of any legal requirements or terms and conditions established by federal and state agencies. 6. Participates in activities related to water, emissions, energy, waste, circular economy, etc., aiming to plan and implement actions that improve organizational performance, reflected in KPI results. 7. Promotes environmental awareness among organizational staff by developing and delivering sustainability training courses. 8. Efficiently allocates resources to execute sustainability programs, activities, services, plans, improvements, and/or initiatives, ensuring optimal use of the allocated budget. 9. Periodically fulfills accountability obligations in accordance with plans, programs, and the organization’s internal sustainability strategy. 10. Collaborates respectfully and with integrity to foster a healthy, collaborative work environment among colleagues, listens to and recognizes others’ ideas and skills, and encourages a positive, innovative workplace. 11. Is responsible for managing and maintaining the True Zero Waste program within the organization, supported by various departments, and for providing corresponding information and training to raise awareness among staff regarding this certification. 12. Participates in, maintains, and updates the sustainability area’s business continuity risk matrix to supervise processes, anticipate risks, and mitigate those associated with sustainability-related activities and management.
