Position Summary: Plan, direct, and optimize procurement strategies for goods and services to ensure timely supply and contribute to the company’s profitability and operational efficiency. Cost, budget, and KPI analysis Position Objective: Plan, direct, and optimize the company’s procurement strategies for goods and services, ensuring timely supply at optimal cost, quality, and negotiation terms, thereby contributing to profitability, operational efficiency, and achievement of organizational goals. Key Responsibilities: Category analysis: ability to classify spending (Direct vs. Indirect) and apply appropriate sourcing strategies per input type (Routine, Bottleneck, Leverage, Strategic). Calculate not only purchase price but also hidden costs: logistics, storage, maintenance, and end-of-life disposal. Develop supplier dashboards; create systems for auditing, qualification, and performance evaluation (scorecards). Implement “Zero Bribery” policies and ensure compliance with tax regulations (e.g., CFDI management in Mexico or VAT regulations in other countries). Negotiate credit terms favorable to the company’s liquidity. Monitor how market changes impact the established standard cost. Strict control over the budget allocation assigned to each department. Position Requirements: * Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or related field. * 4–5 years of experience in similar roles. * Experience leading work teams. Knowledge: Strategic procurement and supply management. Supplier negotiation and management. Cost, budget, and KPI analysis. Inventory control and supply chain management. Contract management and regulatory compliance. ERP systems and analytical tools (Advanced Excel). Data Analytics for Procurement: Use of Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, Power Query) or Power BI to identify budget deviations and missed savings opportunities.
