We are currently seeking an **Operations Materials Manager** **What will you do?** --------------- The **Materials Manager** is responsible for executing and controlling daily materials operations to support uninterrupted production. This role ensures the right material is available at the right time and in the right quantity, driving operational efficiency, inventory accuracy, and line availability. The position has a strong focus on **execution, problem-solving, and leading teams on the production floor**. **How will you do it?** ------------------- * Execute daily material planning and scheduling activities to support production requirements. * Lead warehouse and internal logistics operations, including: + Receiving. + Storage. + Picking. + Line replenishment. * Monitor and manage material shortages, escalations, and recovery plans. * Coordinate closely with Production to adjust priorities according to real-time needs. * Drive inventory control discipline, including: + Cycle counts. + Root cause analysis of discrepancies. + Corrective actions. * Ensure compliance with standard work, processes, and EHS requirements on the production floor. * Identify and eliminate waste in the material flow (excessive movement, delays, overstock). * Implement and sustain Lean tools such as: + Kanban. + FIFO. + 5S. + Visual management. + Standard work. * Support production ramp\-ups, engineering changes, and new product launches. * Support production environments involving: + Sheet metal fabrication. + Electrical harness assembly. * Make rapid decisions during operational disruptions. * Lead Kaizen events focused on material flow and warehouse efficiency. * Support kitting and line-side replenishment strategies tailored to sheet metal fabrication and harness assembly processes. **What are we looking for?** -------------------------- ### **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field. * More than 5 years of experience in a Materials Manager role \+ solid experience in material flow, receiving, picking, route creation, Kanban, etc. * Solid experience in production floor operations. * SAP MM module proficiency (required) * Knowledge and experience with Lean Manufacturing tools (Kanban, FIFO, 5S). * Conversational English / Business English. * Flexible working hours * Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools. * Understanding of sheet metal fabrication and harness production processes. **What do we offer?** ------------------- * Comprehensive benefits package. * Opportunities for professional growth and development. * Inclusive and supportive work environment. * Commitment to work\-life balance and employee well-being. * Participation in significant projects that generate a positive impact. **Johnson Controls does not require pregnancy or HIV testing as a condition for hiring, retention, or promotion**, in compliance with its commitment to equal employment opportunity and non-discrimination.
