Job Summary: We are seeking a Junior Data Engineer to support the construction, maintenance, and optimization of data architectures and ETL/ELT processes, ensuring data quality and efficiency. You will be responsible for supporting the construction, maintenance, and optimization of data architectures and ETL/ELT processes, ensuring quality and efficiency in data handling. **Responsibilities** * Design, develop, and implement ETL/ELT processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading. * Perform database maintenance and ensure data integrity and availability. * Support optimization of database and data flow performance. * Collaborate with data analysts and data scientists to ensure data accessibility and usability. * Monitor data quality and implement solutions to improve it. * Document data processes, pipelines, and architectures. **Requirements** * **Education:** Bachelor’s degree or engineering degree in Computer Systems, Information Technology, Mathematics, or related fields. * **Technical Skills:** * Basic experience with SQL for querying and managing databases. * Knowledge of Python or another programming language. * Familiarity with data visualization tools (desirable). **Competencies:** * Analytical ability and attention to detail. * Teamwork and strong communication skills. * Proactive attitude toward learning new technologies and methodologies. **Desired Qualifications** *(Non-exclusive)* * Basic experience or knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure). * Familiarity with tools such as Apache Airflow, Spark, or Hadoop. * Knowledge of unstructured data handling.
