Join our great family and apply now as: **PLASTIC INJECTION PROCESS TECHNICIAN** PROFILE: EDUCATION: Technician in Electronics, Injection Molding Machines, etc. EXCELLENT APPEARANCE **KNOWLEDGE OF INJECTION MOLDING MACHINE SETUP, FAULT DETECTION, AND EXTENSIVE KNOWLEDGE OF HOT RUNNER INJECTION PROCESSES.** AVAILABILITY TO WORK 3 SHIFTS RESPONSIBILITIES: * Daily completion of the form specifying injection machine parameters, startup checklists, and process parameter records at startup and whenever adjustments are made during production. * Perform setup, startup, and shutdown of injection molding machines to meet quality, cost, and time requirements. * Verify that first pieces produced after any parameter adjustment meet customer specifications (approved parts and master samples). * Support operational personnel training related to the process. * Maintain plant order and cleanliness. * Provide support and supervision in personnel management. * Perform mold cleaning as required to resolve quality issues. * Ensure that date stamps on each mold are updated timely and correctly by the mold shop personnel. * Ensure proper setup of machines\-molds to guarantee safety of molds, personnel, machines, and auxiliary equipment. * Reduce startup times to continuously improve mold changeover times and manufacturing cycle times. * Maintain quoted cycle times or even improve them. * Define process parameters for new or transferred molds. Setup, startup, and adjustment of new or used molds. Internal engineering trial runs or trial runs with customers present.
