A leading company in the automotive financial sector requires: **Senior Data Scientist** *Job Objective:* Design, develop, validate, and implement credit scoring models focused on used vehicles and mortgage lending, aiming to optimize decision-making in credit origination and credit risk management. Experience in automobile financing or vehicle loans, with understanding of the dealership triangle (location, down payment, and interest rate), preferably within companies with automotive finance divisions. Required Knowledge: * Proficiency in supervised models: logistic regression, decision trees, random forest, XGBoost, LightGBM, neural networks **Basic** * Knowledge of model performance metrics (Gini, KS, PSI, etc.) **Advanced** * Familiarity with statistical programming languages (Python, R, SQL, etc.) **Advanced** * Functional knowledge of the credit business (origination, servicing, collections) **Intermediate** * Understanding of variable selection methods and dimensionality reduction techniques (PCA, VIF, etc.) **Advanced** Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, or related field. Advanced English (minimum C1): ability to read technical literature and lead business conversations. Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar role.
