




Job Summary: Maintain the chemical and hazardous waste storage area clean, organized, and properly classified, ensuring safe handling, control, and disposal. Key Responsibilities: 1. Under direct supervision, maintain the chemical and hazardous waste storage area clean, organized, classified, and properly identified. Handle and control chemicals and hazardous waste through storage, labeling, replenishment, and collection of waste from all production areas across the facility, as well as safe disposal. Maintain logbooks for both chemical and hazardous waste intake and outflow. Perform all required administrative tasks to fulfill this function, including pretreatment of wastewater from production areas. Technical and administrative knowledge of storage, control, handling, and disposal of hazardous and special-handling waste. Environmental studies Environmental impact assessments Compliance with applicable environmental regulations (SEMARNAT, PROFEPA, state and municipal regulations). Support for internal and external environmental audits. Participate in plant walkthroughs to identify environmental aspects and impacts. Support environmental awareness campaigns and continuous improvement initiatives. Fire prevention and control Fire risk assessment Coordination of emergency response teams Conducting drills (chemical spills, evacuation, fires) Contingency plans Hazardous waste logbook control Control of hazardous waste inventory in storage Maintain up-to-date inventory records Ensure adequate stock of chemicals Proper handling of chemicals and hazardous waste Control chemical disposal.
