Join Silicatos y Derivados S.A. de C.V.! **A Day at Silicatos y Derivados S.A. de C.V.** * Prepare and file monthly and annual tax returns (VAT, Income Tax, withholdings, DIOT, etc.). * Review correct application of taxes in accounting entries and tax receipts (CFDI). * Calculate and record tax provisions. * Monitor changes in tax laws and update internal processes accordingly. * Coordinate and follow up on tax audits (SAT and external). * Maintain organized tax supporting documentation for potential reviews. * Support compliance with informational obligations (DIM, DIOT, informational returns, etc.). * Review and reconcile tax-related accounting accounts. * Participate in monthly and annual financial closing, ensuring proper tax integration. * Respond to SAT or other tax authority requests and notifications. * Manage state-level tax filings and payments, including property tax, vehicle tax, municipal fees, and other local contributions. * Prepare and follow up on tax refund or offset applications with the SAT. * Prepare periodic reports on the company’s tax status for financial management or internal audit. * Coordinate with IT or systems teams to update tax catalogs and ERP configurations for tax compliance. * Provide guidance on correct issuance of CFDI, withholdings, or expense verification to procurement, accounts payable, and other related departments. **What We Are Looking For?** * Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Administration, or related field (degree required). * Knowledge of general accounting and Mexican tax regulations (Income Tax, VAT, withholdings). * Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, formulas, reconciliations). * Experience using SAP. * Minimum 2 years of experience in accounts payable, preferably within manufacturing, chemical, or consumer goods companies. (preferred) * Intermediate English.
