Job Description
We are seeking a committed, empathetic, and service-oriented Gerontologist to join our multidisciplinary team. The candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supervising strategies that promote the holistic well-being of resident older adults, supporting dignified, active aging with quality of life.
Main Responsibilities
* Conduct comprehensive gerontological assessments of residents.
* Develop individualized intervention plans based on physical, cognitive, emotional, and social needs.
* Design and implement cognitive stimulation, recreational, and occupational activities.
* Monitor the functional and emotional status of older adults.
* Identify risk factors related to dependency, cognitive decline, depression, malnutrition, and social isolation.
* Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings for case analysis.
* Train and guide direct-care staff on topics related to aging and gerontological care.
* Provide support and guidance to family members.
* Prepare reports, case files, and follow-up records.
* Promote respect for human rights and dignified treatment of older adults.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Gerontology (degree and professional license).
* Desired experience in caring for older adults in nursing homes, residential facilities, or healthcare institutions.
* Knowledge of gerontological assessment, cognitive stimulation, and healthy aging.
* Communication skills, empathy, organizational ability, and teamwork.
* Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and report writing.

Position Objective
