Description
Inventory Coordinator responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and optimizing critical inventory at manufacturing plants and distribution centers, identifying risks such as low turnover, expirations, obsolescence, and slow-moving items, with the objective of reducing shrinkage and maximizing storage capacity.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Analyze critical inventory and detect risks related to low turnover or expiration
* Coordinate action plans with Sales, Planning, Quality, and Procurement departments
* Ensure inventory reliability (physical vs. system)
* Monitor key inventory performance indicators
* Control product status (blocks, releases, shrinkage)
* Generate reports and dashboards for decision-making
* Ensure compliance with FIFO / FEFO methodologies
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives for inventory optimization
**Requirements**
* Bachelor's degree or engineering degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
* 3–5 years of experience in inventory control or supply chain
* Experience managing critical inventory
* Proficiency in ERP or WMS systems (SAP preferred)
* Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
* Knowledge of inventory metrics (turnover, Days on Hand [DOH], ABC analysis)
* Willingness to work on-site at manufacturing plants
