Responsibilities * Provide immediate care to patients arriving at the emergency department. * Perform initial diagnoses and stabilize critically ill patients. * Order and coordinate diagnostic tests and urgent treatments. * Perform emergency department-specific procedures: intubation, CPR, intravenous access, suturing, among others. * Collaborate with the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), inpatient wards, and operating rooms as clinically required. * Accurately document provided care in clinical records. * Timely communicate patient condition and clinical progress to family members. * Comply with biosafety protocols and hospital regulations. * Participate in training programs and continuous improvement initiatives in emergency medicine. * Support clinical committees and hospital quality improvement sessions.
