(W) To meet deadlines specified in the payroll calendar and record timely information required by accounting, labor, tax, or internal audit departments, ensuring accurate accounting records, proper tax treatment, and compliance with US GAAP principles, primarily avoiding rework or negative financial impacts on legal entities.
5 (W) Generates monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and/or annual reports required by various departments such as HR, Labor Relations, Accounting, Internal Audit, Internal Control, and Tax to fulfill external requests received by these departments. (H) Generates reports from the payroll system according to the structure and requirements of each mentioned department. (W) To meet SLA deadlines set by each department and comply with legal, tax, labor, and internal/external audit requirements, as well as Mexican laws.
6 (W) Prepares and sends the consolidated payroll accounting figures at the close of each accounting month. (H) Summarizes payrolls processed and paid during the accounting month, cross-checks processed, paid, and recorded payment information in the payroll system against the SAP accounting system, prepares and sends the consolidated report to the Accounting and Tax teams. (W) To ensure integrity and consistency of financial and tax information, providing reliable data to Accounting and Tax teams for preparing financial reports and tax filings, meeting legal, tax, labor, and internal/external audit requirements, as well as Mexican laws.
7 (W) Provides attention and support to the Human Resources department regarding employees' technical inquiries. (H) Analyzes inquiries and ensures clarification is provided to the HR team so it can be properly communicated to employees, including providing documentary evidence to enhance clarity. (W) Prevent potential conflicts and/or legal actions from workers and/or unions while complying with legal, tax, labor, and internal/external audit requirements, as well as Mexican laws.
8 (W) Ensures mass processing and approval of Time Tracking hours in Workday. (H) Executes the 'mass hour submission' and 'mass process advancement' transactions in Workday and processes Time Tracking in the Workday system to send incidents to the payroll system. (W) Guarantees incidents are properly applied in the payroll system, complying with legal, tax, labor, and internal/external audit requirements, as well as Mexican laws.
9 (W) Supports the implementation of projects, procedures, policies, and payroll practices that improve the efficiency of calculating federal, tax, state, and labor obligations, as well as changes arising from updates to Mexican laws. (H) Participates in internal consultations with expert departments such as Tax, Human Resources, Labor Relations, Internal Audit, and Internal Control, as well as with external consultants to identify and implement updates and improvements in the payroll system. (W) Ensures correct interpretation of Mexican laws to meet legal, tax, labor, and internal/external audit requirements.
