




Position Summary: Pharmaceutical professional responsible for evaluating and supervising service providers, applying pharmacological knowledge, and advising on the rational use of medications. Key Responsibilities: 1. Advise healthcare staff and patients on the rational use of medications. 2. Collaborate in the evaluation and supervision of service providers. 3. Apply knowledge of pharmacological properties and their interactions. Collaborate during the evaluation, approval, and supervision of service providers. Apply knowledge of pharmaceutical and pharmacological properties of medications and their interactions. Advise healthcare team members and patients on the rational use of medications. Utilize specialized medical and clinical pharmacy information resources regarding medications and other health supplies. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to review medication dosages and treatment regimens, maximizing resource utilization and eliminating self-medication, overdosing, and the illegal drug market. Carry out pharmacovigilance and technovigilance activities in accordance with NOM-220 and NOM-240. Maintain curriculum-relevant documentation verifying ongoing training in pharmaceutical care or clinical education. Possess necessary patient-related information (patient data, diagnoses, and prescribed therapy) to conduct analysis. Interact respectfully, warmly, and courteously with patients and the healthcare team. Maintain confidentiality of patient information. Communicate with the prescriber of the medical prescription to confirm or correct it, if necessary. Have access to up-to-date and reliable scientific information sources to support interventions and provide advice or instructions to patients or the healthcare team.
