Position: Cashier · At our Cooperative, members’ trust is built every day—especially at the first point of contact: the teller counter. Therefore, we are opening this internal vacancy for employees interested in developing as a Cashier—a key role ensuring cash security, service quality, and proper branch operations. Why is this position so important? The Cashier is a fundamental figure in daily operations. The availability of resources, secure transaction execution, and each member’s agile, reliable, and professional experience depend on the Cashier’s organization, control, and attention. This role safeguards not only the Cooperative’s funds but also the trust of those who believe in us. Main Responsibilities: Request and monitor the replenishment of the Main Teller Fund, maintaining timely communication with Treasury. Open the teller area, allocate and consolidate funds to tellers and ATMs, monitoring cash flows and established limits. Participate in debit card PIN reset and change processes, ensuring compliance with institutional protocols. Supervise security best practices, identifying and reporting any risk situations to the Branch Manager. Address tellers’ questions, clarifications, and requests, as well as escalate incidents in the Core Banking system. Ensure high-quality counter service: service times, orderliness, appearance, cash flows, and support for cross-selling. Conduct ATM cash counts and daily operational closings. Generate and submit closing reports, audit tapes, and reconciliations to relevant departments. Control, safeguard, and archive supporting documentation for daily operations and transfers. Manage checks assigned by the Branch Manager. Prepare the monthly report on cash shipments and receipts with cash-in-transit companies. Candidate Profile We Seek: Excellent customer service attitude High school diploma or bachelor’s degree Computer literacy Cash handling and cash drawer reconciliation experience Resident of Huatusco or surrounding areas We Offer: Biweekly salary: $4,750 Monthly food vouchers.
