Job Responsibilities: The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for: Operational Duties * Deliver high-quality patient care by conducting pre-examination assessments and strictly adhering to current regulations. * Comply with and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards consistent with organizational procedures, and comply with established occupational risk prevention regulations. * Observe all rules and procedures specified by the General Directorate and the Head of Radiology. * Use equipment and technical devices provided appropriately for protection of oneself, staff, the public, and patients. * Conduct daily equipment inspections verifying general conditions (calibration, fluid levels, etc.), reporting any malfunctions to the department head and recording findings in the logbook. * Ensure rational use of medical and computing equipment provided by the organization, and request timely preventive or corrective maintenance from the service head. * Meet and maintain productivity indicators, user satisfaction metrics, waiting times for service delivery, and contrast medium reaction monitoring. * Maintain inventory control of minimum and maximum stock levels for supplies and medications required for service operations and for the emergency cart. * Promptly enter charges into the system for each service rendered. * Submit weekly orders for radiological consumables, wound care materials, and specialized materials required for radiological procedures. * Supervise rational use of contrast media, radiological consumables, wound care materials, specialized radiological materials, and stationery. * Read, understand, and implement manuals on radiation protection, radiological safety, and technical service procedures. * Know and apply hospital procedures and policies. * Attend training courses designated by the hospital. * Actively participate in drills, emergency codes, Facility Safety System brigades, and scheduled drills. * Participate in Patient Safety training. * Perform all functions inherent to one’s area of expertise.
