SALES REPRESENTATIVE

Description

Provide support for in-store operational activities by executing sales-related operational processes, merchandise arrangement, and customer service as established by AutoZone, collaborating to ensure proper compliance and achieve assigned store’s operational and commercial performance indicators. * Arrange merchandise on the sales floor, excess inventory, and trucks in accordance with applicable merchandise arrangement guidelines. * Execute correct planograms; * Scan merchandise to complete inventory counts; * Perform proper “fronting” and labeling to classify merchandise, and participate in opening and closing tasks, as well as cleaning activities on the sales floor, to ensure correct merchandise arrangement and store presentation. * Provide customer service by clarifying inquiries regarding product location, specific product type information, function, and pricing, thereby delivering excellent service reflected in point-of-sale transaction closures, and handling customer phone calls to address questions about specific products or orders. * Accurately perform cash register transactions using cash or credit/debit cards, and process returns in compliance with cash register payment policies to ensure effective payment collection and sales transaction closure. * High school diploma completed * Prior experience as a warehouse associate, cashier, or general assistant. * Customer service experience preferred.
