Position Summary: Qvitek is seeking a leader to ensure the operational continuity, availability, and security of the organization's technology infrastructure, networks, and telecommunications services. We build tailored solutions. **Objective:** Ensure the operational continuity, availability, and security of the organization’s technology infrastructure, networks, and telecommunications services, guaranteeing high standards of quality, continuity, and operational efficiency. **Requirements:** **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Computer Systems Engineering or related field. **Experience:** Minimum 5 years of verifiable managerial or director-level experience in infrastructure and networking—or a similar role—preferably within the automotive industry. **Language:** Technical and conversational English. **Management Skills:** * Project Management. * Documentation. * Testing Methodologies. * Management of personnel assigned to projects. * Selection and management of involved service providers. * License Management. **Technical Skills:** * User administration, monitoring, and prevention of malicious attacks. * Vulnerability analysis, security patch management, and regulatory compliance with **Qualys and Microsoft WSUS.** * Security management of servers **Dell VXRail Manager, vCenter, ESXi\-MANDATORY** * Troubleshooting **switches, access points, and both physical and virtual servers.** * Data Loss Prevention (***DLP***). * Administration and monitoring of virtual servers **Windows and Linux**, managed via **VMware.** * Configuration and administration of **GPOs, DNS, DC, Active Directory, and DHCP**, log handling. * Administration, monitoring, and coordination of issue resolution for Windows servers and **LAN/WAN** networks. * Creation of **VLANs**. * Resolution of failures involving **Meraki/Cisco\-MANDATORY** devices. * Monitoring of **Veeam Backup**, including backups and restorations. * Expertise in **Fortinet Firewalls**. **Soft Skills:** * Leadership. * Team management and development. * Results-oriented with emphasis on quality. * Proactive and solution-driven. * Responsible for meeting deadlines. * Negotiation. **Responsibilities:** * Design, coordinate, and manage server migration projects and access point migration projects. * Coordinate with operations to support infrastructure during outages. * Coordinate and execute proof-of-concept (*PoC*) tests with vendors to assess security vulnerabilities in the company’s infrastructure and networks. * Plan and coordinate, together with the Network Operations Center (*NOC*), security updates for servers. * Supervise troubleshooting of switches, access points, and physical/virtual servers. * Lead and deliver solutions jointly with the Security Operations Center, including firewall rule requests and VPN configuration. * Prevent data loss. * Administer and monitor virtual servers, ensuring availability and performance. * Ensure requested changes comply with the company’s security requirements. * Plan and execute security patch updates. * Administer, update, and monitor backups, as well as restore data. * Manage and monitor local *NAS* (Network Attached Storage) and *VSAN* (Virtual Storage Area Network) storage within the physical server cluster, coordinating with the IT team for debugging and updates to improve performance. **Required Expertise:** * Dell VXRail Manager\-**Mandatory** * Switches. * Fortinet Firewalls. * VMware. * GPO, DNS, DC, Active Directory, and DHCP; log handling. * LAN/WAN. * Meraki/Cisco devices\-**Mandatory** * Veeam Backup. * Data Security. * DRP/BCP. * vCenter. * ESXi. * Qualys. * Access Points. * DLP. * Windows and Linux Servers. * Microsoft WSUS. **Working Hours:** Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., on-site. **Interested candidates should submit an updated CV via this channel or email it to: yadelit.mora@qvitek.com** Employment Type: Full-time.
